Hello, Hope you are doing well, Please go through the following requirement and let me know on sa...@riderconsultinginc.com if you have any available resources Please send me profile along with contact detail so we can save our time……….   Role: SQL DBA  Location: Richmond, VA Duration: Long Term?                                                                      ?                                   Job Description: This is a 6 to 9 month contract opportunity with a Richmond-based Financial Services company.  This individual will report to the Director of Information Systems with direct access to key stakeholders, including the Chief Technology Officer.  The database administrator's initial focus will be a complete redesign of existing SQL Server 2000-2008 database environments as it transitions to SQL Server 2012.  Primary Responsibilities: ·         Design, Implement and Maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2012 environment ·         Lead effort to migrate older Microsoft SQL Server platforms to new 2012 environment ·         Work with project teams to plan and execute database-related implementations ·         Utilize Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to streamline nightly data processing ·         Utilize Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to present data to end users through SharePoint/Intranet ·         Perform backup and recovery of data ·         Define and implement database standards Skills Required: ·         BA/BS in degree in Computer Science, Database Management Systems or Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background is required ·         5-7 years of progressive experience managing Microsoft SQL Server Databases ·         Hands-on experience designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2012 in a production environment ·         Hands-on experience with SSIS ·         Hands-on experience with SSRS ·         Proficient in performance monitoring and management ·         Highly evolved problem solving abilities ·         Hands-on experience with database migration projects ·         Experience training and coaching software developers on database best practices       Thanks, Samir Reddy   Technical Recruiter Contact: 980-272-1261 Alter     : 850-810-5234 E-mail: sa...@riderconsultinginc.com Web: www.riderconsultinginc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
