W2 CONTRACT so H1B’s is OK* · Design, develop, implement and validate Microsoft SSRS reports. · Design, develop, implement and validate SQL ETL processes and Microsoft SSIS packages, with guidance from senior team members. · Create and execute unit test plans based on validation requirements. · Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL and related ETL processes. · Clarify requirements and business rules with users and/or ITS Business System Analysts for projects as assigned. · Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed. · Ensure that timelines of assigned projects and tasks are met. · Collaborate with various functional business units to gather reporting requirements. · Conduct data analysis; identify issues and recommend and implement solutions. · Create ad-hoc and automated reporting solutions. · Design, develop, implement and validate MicroStrategy reports and dashboards. · Design, develop, implement and validate MicroStrategy desktop schema objects, with guidance from senior team members. · Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. *CORE COMPETENCIES / KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS* · Strong experience with SQL · Strong experience with Microsoft SSRS · Some experience with Microsoft SSIS · Some experience developing ETL to support enterprise-wide data processing projects (i.e., Enterprise Data Warehouse). · Strong database-related development skills (complex SQL queries, complex store procedures and user-defined functions in SQL Server 2005 and 2008). · Experience in data analysis, data modeling and data mart design. · Ability to synthesize data from various sources and perform various types of data analysis. · Familiarity with standard regulatory reporting healthcare requirements such as HEDIS measures. · Familiarity with industry standard health data code sets such as ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and NDC (Pharmacy). · Familiarity with TriZetto QNXT back-end tables is preferred. · Familiarity with creating MicroStrategy Reports is preferred. · Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities. · Solid analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement. · Have the ability to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal skills. · Be highly organized and work well under pressure. · Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness. *EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING REQUIRED* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. · 3+ Years of advanced SQL skills (SQL Server 2005/2008) and o 3+ Years of QNXT/SSRS reporting and/or o 3+ Years of ETL development using T-SQL and SSIS · 2+ Years of proven ability to interpret healthcare data in order to locate anomalies and recommending corrective actions.
