.NET Developer with heavy SQL development experience Location: NYC. Duration: 12 months with possibility of renewal Start date: approx. 9/8/14 *SCOPE OF SERVICES * o Create/modify GUIs to enable business users to collect and modify data. o Automate complex business processes and create GUIs for users to interact with the workflow. o Create documentation of all areas of the system. o Develop/modify dashboards and reports to allow users to see different facets of the data. o Develop integration modules to interface with existing systems. o Create/modify SQL tables and stored procedures to accommodate the data changes. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * o A baccalaureate degree in computer science or a related computer field and six (6) years of satisfactory full-time software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications. o Strong background in .NET Technologies. (C# 5.0 or greater, ASP.NET 4.5, MVC 4 or greater, Entity Framework 5.0 or greater) o Expert knowledge and experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server Management Studio, Team Foundation Server o Expert knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, etc.) o Expert knowledge and experience developing N-tier application architecture using design patterns. o Expert knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server relational database technologies *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE* o Familiarity with emerging web technologies and/or recommended standards and practices. (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web with Bootstrap 3, AJAX using jQuery, structured JavaScript design patterns, etc.) o Familiarity with SQL Server Full Text Search. o Crystal Report or SQL Server Reporting Services.
