*Project Location* *farmers beach/TX* *Duration* *6 months* *MOI: PHONE+SKYPE* *SKILLS:* - MS/PhD in Statistics/Mathematics/Econometrics /Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline. - 2 years of experience with R, statistical modeling, data mining, machine learning tools and underlying algorithms. - Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience building statistical models. *Preferred* - PhD in Mathematics or Statistics. - Proficient knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and data mining methodologies. - Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. - Strong knowledge and experience using major statistical analysis tools such as R, Matlab, or SAS. - Experience with at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.) preferred. - Proficient knowledge of statistical models such as decision trees, time series analysis, cluster analysis, logistic regression, non-parametric analysis and optimization. - Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner with both technical and non-technical customers.
