We will setup an interview immediately *Type: Full time/ CTH* ____ *Title : Windchill System Administrator Location : Minneapolis, MN* *Type : Full time/ 6 months CTH* *Mandatory Skills* *"Windchill System Admin • 3-5 yrs of hands-on experience with PLM software (Windchill version 9.0 and above) • 3-5 yrs of experience in administration& configuration of Windchill • BS Engineering (ME, EE, IE) or Information Technology • Goodexperience in J2EE, development of JSPs and Java • Experience with operating systems (e.g. Solaris, Linux, AIX) and ability to maintain & troubleshoot issues • Experience with web server technology (e.g. Apache, Tomcat) • Experience with database technology (e.g. PL*SQL, Oracle, SQL Server) • Experience with of back-up processes and procedures • Experience in performance monitoring of Windchill or similar PLM applications. • Strong shell scripting experience with scripting in UNIX environment. • Knowledge with Source control systems and concepts • Strong communication and project lead skills • Good listening, written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge with Local-Area Networks (LAN) and Wide-Area Networks (WAN) *Job Roles/Responsibilities* *• System Administration of Windchill in a clustered environment • Troubleshoot issues in Windchill application & provide fixes • Configure and define solutions to optimize performance in a clustered environment using JConsole or other tools • Assist in data migration activities as part of Windchill upgrade • Coordinate with the database administrators and PLM developers to ensure solutions have acceptable response time for users across the enterprise • Support upgrades, releases and patches for PLM application (Windchill) • Co-ordinate with DBA’s to refresh/clone production instance to non-production instances. • Develop and manage automated scripts in UNIX to increase efficiency. • Provide technical support to the Windchill Support as required. • Coordinate with functional team to analyze and understand requirements & design required solutions for Windchill application • Integration of Windchill PLM with Enterprise systems (ERP) and development of any customizations around the integration.
