*Interview Mode: Telephonic followed by Skype*

* Technical Responsibilities:*

   - Assumes responsibility for overall analysis, design, development and
   implementation of a custom built enterprise document management
   application.
   - Assists in unit testing and implementation of new software releases.
   - Manage product development within team’s programming guidelines and
   standards.
   - Provide technical support to other imaging development personnel.
   - Reviews and researches the cause of outstanding production issues,
   working with necessary individuals to correct these issues.
   - Strives to build quality software and provide business value.
   - Works with business analysts during the requirements phase to directly
   participate in defining technical solutions to business needs.
   - Works with business customers and other technical team members.
   - Develops business requirements, technical and system documentation,
   and workflow procedures while ensuring the customer understands final
   project results.
   - Meets regularly with the project team to ensure new system
   enhancements are coordinated for consistency.
   - Participates in the development and implementation of processes that
   improve efficiency and enhance productivity.

 *Business Responsibilities *

   - Work with technical project managers to provide project timelines and
   finalize business rules.
   - Ensures that the training and support teams receive appropriate
   documentation for changes placed into production.
   - Responds to questions and assists customers regarding system inputs,
   processes and outputs.
   - Perform all responsibilities within the guidelines of Flagstar and
   Information Services policies and directives at or above Flagstar’s
   performance and evaluation standards.

 *Leadership Responsibilities & Position Complexity*

   - Strong independent thinking is required and the analyst will apply his
   or her own judgment within set limits.
   - This position receives minimal direct guidance & supervision.
   - Cultivate strong relationships with internal customer base, vendors,
   and other internal technical support personnel to provide strong support
   services.
   - Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members.

*Qualifications: *

*Education & Experience:*

   - BS or BA degree in computer science, mathematics, business
   administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
   - A minimum of seven years software development experience.
   - A minimum of five years content management systems development and
   support experience.
   - Experience with relation databases, building web applications and
   developing IT requirements documentation.
   - Knowledge of SDLC processes, object-oriented design and development.
   - Mortgage or banking industry experience.



*Business Prerequisites*

   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
   - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
   - Strong time management skills.
   - Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
   - Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:30 - 5:00 PM Monday -
   Friday, some weekend or evening hours may be required upon business need.

 *Technical Prerequisites:*

   - Fluency with development on Windows, and/or Linux server platform.
   - Strong development skills in Adobe Flex, Adobe LiveCycle, Java, .NET
   and/or Microsoft Visual Basic.
   - J2EE (JSP, JDBC, EJB, etc) experience required.
   - ASP, XML, and XSLT experience required.
   - Web Service (SOAP, WSDL, REST, etc) experience preferred.
   - Strong knowledge of SQL databases including Microsoft’s SQL & Oracle’s
   11G.
   - Strong knowledge of document management and workflow applications
   including the IBM BPM product suite (Panagon Image Services and eProcess
   and P8), IBM P8 Case Manager, Kofax Ascent Capture, or similar applications.
   - Familiarity with desktop operating systems including Windows 2003,
   Windows 2008 & XP.
