Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* ETL Tester *Project Location* Wilmington, DE *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:- Telephonic+ Face to Face* Need someone with a strong understanding of the entire ETL process who can speak, IN DETAIL, about their hands-on experience with an ETL tool *Responsibility-* Quality Assurance Testers are responsible for ensuring quality functionality is delivered for business requested initiatives in alignment with the Technology group’s Goals and Strategic Plan. Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%) (Ideally 4-10 points, or headings with sub-points. Quantify where possible e.g. cost/income budget, no of subordinates, likely no of yrs/mths to complete longest task. Could note key external/internal lateral relationships) Quality Assurance Adhere to SDLC Methodology Develop Functional Test Cases to support new applications, new processes, system enhancements or production issues following Best Practices (negative and positive testing) Execute Functional Test Cases Validate Results of Testing Utilize Quality Center for Test Case development and execution Maintain accurate feature status in Quality Center during testing Update, contribute and review additions to the test case library Document account conditioning and testing processes Log Defects in Quality Center found in Functional Testing Participate in Project meetings and daily stand ups Communicate appropriately with the PM, Team Lead, Developers and the Business, escalating when necessary Be collaborative, innovative and strive for solutions oriented approaches Participate in Test Strategy Reviews owned by QA Participate in Risk Reviews owned by QA Identify and communicate any Risks to the Project Team during testing Collaborate with the development team on System Integration Testing (SIT) planning and execution Support QA by reviewing features with them for Regression Suite updates Condition test data to be utilized by Solutions Delivery Functional Testing Work with Developers during troubleshooting to recreate failures *SKILLS--* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent , Information Systems degree preferred Extensive experience developing and executing test scripts, test matrices and test cases for small to medium size projects. Knowledge of quality management methodologies, principles, metrics and tools Excellent problem-solving skills Experience using HP Quality Center (or like) for application lifecycle management Strong proven ability to deliver to deadlines Solid organizational skills with proven ability to juggle priorities, to multi-task, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, effectively bring discussions and issues to closure and flawlessly execute at speed Hands-on experience reviewing test documentation including strategies, plans, cases, scripts and results Working knowledge of SQL either using TOAD or SQL Navigator Understanding of Relational Database technologies (preferably Oracle) Knowledge and passion for maintaining Customer data privacy & separation of QA and production environments Experience using automated testing tools (QTP, Selenium) Banking / credit card experience Expert knowledge of TSYS QA certification (QAI, ASQ) QA experience in an agile development environment (XP, FDD, SCRUM, etc.) Experience with automated test scripting or software development Knowledge of UNIX, LINUX and NT platforms Data warehousing fundamentals; experience using at least one ETL product.
