*Position : Project Manager, MCI* Location : San Bruno, CA Duration : 6+ Months *GENERAL SUMMARY: * · The Multi-Channel team is at the intersection of the Walmart digital and physical shopping experience. We are responsible for creating an easy and innovative experience for our customers. · The role of the Multichannel Manager is a critical position and delivers huge impact on both the customer experience and on the performance of multi-channel programs. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* · In this position, you will be responsible for execution of key tactics and day-to-day e-commerce operations for our In-Store Pickup programs. You will lead numerous improvement projects aimed at streamlining activities while driving up performance and quality. You will tackle complex problems that affect customers and work to resolve them with innovative solutions. Anything you focus on will be aimed at ensuring service excellence and constantly improving our processes. · You will play a critical role in the launch of new technology, driving creation of reports, resolving time sensitive customer and operational issues (especially during holiday). You will be work closely with other support teams (Product Mgmt, Business Systems Support, Engineering, Finance, Merchandising, Item Setup) on eliminating errors and delivering an excellent customer experience. You will drive continuous process improvement and make our customer experience better than ever. · You are familiar with Excel (pivot tables) and basic SQL and can synthesize data to determine what’s driving issues in our operations, you use data to make the best decisions for your customer, you are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment, you enjoy solving problems innovatively and are good at crafting solutions, you like getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done and you communicate clearly and effectively with cross functional groups. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field), Physics, Business Administration or related field. · At least 5 years of previous process engineering, business management or consulting experience · Working knowledge of Lean Concepts · Experience diagnosing a situation · Demonstrated track record of working successfully with teams across organizations, and geographically separated teams · Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables) required, and with SQL (basic queries) desired. *Preferred Qualifications* · Master’s degree. · Strong analytical and quantitative skills and business judgment · Superior written and oral communication skills · Tenacity, diplomacy, and a sense of humor *Physical Requirements:* · Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring consecutive overnight stays. · Travels internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring extended overnight stays.
