The Oracle SOA Developer’s role is to partner with functional business
analysts and other team members in driving appropriate design and
implementation of technical solutions to support current or future Oracle
ERP integrations. Responsible for building integration solutions with
Oracle ERP and third party solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW)
including BPEL/SOA technology. The candidate will also design, document,
and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle in
accordance with the business goals and organizational architectural
standards.
Design and develop BPEL processes (Synchronous and Asynchronous).
Develop XML schema designs
Design and construction of web services
Provide customer support for business critical application problems
and issues.
Create process flows, high level functional and detailed technical
design specifications from business requirements.
Coordinate work efforts with the DBA and infrastructure teams for
application change controls and system performance issues.
*Technical Competencies and Requirements *
5+ years with hands-on experience in requirements analysis, system
design, development and testing of Oracle eBusiness Suite customizations
3+ years of experience in Architecting and orchestrating
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Work experience on Oracle E-business Suite
Development experience using Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA suite
(BPEL, Mediator etc.), Oracle Service Bus 11g and Oracle WebLogic server,
Oracle databases to architect and build robust integrations using best
practices.
Familiarity with open source standards for XML, WSDL, SOAP etc.
Knowledge on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Application Development
Framework (ADF) would be a plus
Be able to code independently in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
