Position: Business Analyst Location: Virginia Beach, VA Duration: 9+ Months *Roles& Responsibilities*: 1. Performs requirements analysis, identifies potential solutions, and works with various ComIT teams to support and implement identified initiatives. 2. Develops requirements documents Works with City Departments to understand the business requirements to offer options that will meet the organization's needs. 3. Develop Business Cases, Requests for Proposals, Business Requirements and other related documentation 4. Works with business owners to develop test cases, manages the testing process for various initiatives. Develops Test and Acceptance Plans 5. Works on the development of Strategic Technology Assessments 6. Performs various types of Total Cost of Ownership analysis including ROI and CBA. 7. Develops schedules to meet established deadlines. 8. Utilize modern tools of systems analysis to conduct thorough feasibility and cost benefit analysis studies; implements modern management techniques. 9. Thoroughly researches literature on new or proposed work as related to the initiative.
