*Position :* Business Analyst with Retail experience *Location :* Menomonee Falls, WI *Duration :* 4 – 6 months *Requirements:* a general understanding of business services (operational and shared business functions) a high-level understanding of the lifecycle of (technical) services, service versioning, various service interfaces (i.e. Web Services, queue, file), WSDL the ability to differentiate between service providers and consumers *The qualified candidate will be able to:* talk in terms of retail business functions and descriptions facilitate discussions with the technical folks to drive out and capture pre-defined business service information in a central tool manage work with multiple teams/timelines to meet agreed upon deadlines support the business service repository solution to capture additional legacy and newer interfaces, and help manage the migration from legacy to new to enable Kohl's to move towards a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). A successful engagement will result in capturing an inventory of business services and point-to-point integrations within the business service repository for up to 10 pre-defined areas. There will also be some work which includes converting metadata and documents into a central document repository. XML is not mandatory, but the ability to apply common patterns to multiple XML files will be required. In addition there will be some standard Business Analyst work including user acceptance testing and modifications to existing job aids to support the conversion.
