*Application Development - Associate Programmer-Analyst*

Responsible for designing new or modifying existing, implementing, and
testing of the programming logic of part of moderately complex application
programs, or modifying existing routines or purchased application software.
The focus of this particular position is around report writing, data
extraction, and data sampling for audit related purposes.

Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with
duties and responsibilities.



*QUALIFICATIONS:*



·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, ISDS or equivalent
required.  Four years of relevant experience can be used in lieu of a
degree.

·         Requires the knowledge and ability to analyze and solve complex,
logical problems such as may be found in the study of mathematics,
statistics, etc.  Requires knowledge of data processing equipment,
programming languages, programming and analysis techniques, operating
systems, test and data management.

·         Must have prior experience and be proficient with analyzing
existing code, making required changes, and capable of doing new
development / programming in VB.Net. Familiarity with accessing and
retrieving data from SQL databases is required. A solid knowledge of basic
statistical record sampling techniques is preferred.



*ACCOUNTABILITIES:*



·         Working with and under the direction/guidance of IT Audits Senior
Programmer Analyst to analyze and revise existing and/or develop new VB.Net
data extraction routines.

·         Assist with designs, codes, tests, maintains, trouble shoots,
documents on new or existing integrated information systems with moderate
supervision at various levels of complexity to maintain quality enterprise
business solutions of application architectures.

·         Assists in producing high quality data extracts that meet the
applicable selection requirements as defined by the client area, Plan
Performance, to support their quality assurance validation audits of
customer service.

·         Job duties are performed in a normal and clean office environment
with normal noise levels.

·         Work is predominately done while standing or sitting.

·         Physical effort is required to lift, hold, and carry objects up
to 15 pounds, occasionally.

·         Job duties entail using multiple body parts in a coordinated
manner.

·         Manual/Finger dexterity in both hands is needed to operate a
keyboard and manipulate small objects.

·         Sight, hearing, the ability to distinguish colors, and touching
are required sensory abilities.

·         The ability to read, write, calculate, visualize, and analyze are
required.
