The PeopleSoft HCM – Benefits Lead Consultant position is responsible for
the 9.2 upgrade of the Benefits module for a public sector client,
including dependencies and relationships with other HCM modules being
implemented (Absence Management, Payroll, HR, and Time & Labor). We are
looking for a strong leader to provide functional expertise to an Benefits
Management module team comprised of Client project team members, as well as
coordination with other functional/module teams, a technical team and
various Client subject matter experts. The position will be responsible for
directing work effort within the Benefits team and providing consultation
to the project management team. Responsibilities include configuration of
system components, design specifications for development work
(customizations, interfaces, reports), assistance with data migration and
conversion activities, creating test plans and scripts, executing testing
and planning & executing of deployment activities. As the project
progresses, the position will work with Client resources and the Change
Management team on transition plans for re-engineered business processes,
as well as training end users.



Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years’ experience in business and systems
implementation 7+ years’ experience in leading PeopleSoft Benefits module
implementations and upgrades through version 9.2 5+ years of IT consulting
experience. Must have experience implementing Benefits module for
government client with 100,000+ benefit participants within last 2 years.
Must have demonstrated experience with other HRMS/HCM modules, including
Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Labor and eRecruit/Talent
Acquisition Manager Experience with Manager and Employee Self Service
Experience with People Tools / PeopleCode and PeopleSoft Integration Tools
(Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflow) Experience in managing
client and subject matter expert relationships



Training: Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, business
administration, or a closely related field. Desirable Qualifications:
Ability to take initiative Outstanding communications and people skills
Experience in public-sector software implementations Experience with formal
software development life cycle methodologies Experience in creating and/or
analyzing application requirements Experience in analyzing and documenting
formal business processes with clients and/or end users Experience in
creating application functional design specifications Experience in
developing or executing application test plans Working knowledge of
business process flows used to support PeopleSoft HCM Experience in leading
business analysts and/or other teams on systems implementation projects
Experience with eMerge Project Experience working with other proposed team
members is highly desirable
