This individual will provide Sr level of technical expertise and be the subject matter expert in all disciplines within Network Services. The Sr. Engineer will develop network designs, provide in-depth technical knowledge to implement, operate, configure, and troubleshoot a converged IP network. Engineer must be capable of building and configuring complex end-to-end converged networks, troubleshooting and resolving network related problems and ensuring quality of service using in-depth understanding of the network infrastructure including routing/switching, security, specialized hosting environments, etc. This role requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. Qualifications: " Sr Technical skills in all the following areas supported by existing team: Routing/Switching, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Load Balancing, MPLS, BGP/EIGRP, SAN Switching and various other emerging products released " 7+ years of Sr. Technical expertise in a similar role with high rate of success on changes " Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. Cisco, ITIL, Microsoft, PMP and other certifications desirable. " Excellent knowledge of networking protocols Experience with carries a must. Candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter. " Excellent technical written and presentation capabilities; must have ability to make customer presentations.
