Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Software Tester *Project Location* Los Angeles, CA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI Telephonic Followed by face to face* Should have: 1) Selenium or Watir 2) Basic programming in Java 3) Experience testing a Reporting, data warehouse, or BI application *OR* should have Hadoop or HBase experience * Qualifications: *4+ years hands on QA/Testing Experience BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,or related field or equivalent experience 2 - 3 years test automation experience Ability to write code in a minimum of one structured programming language (Java preferred) for the purpose of testing web services Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities *Preferred:* Agile process experience Experience testing applications developed using Open Source Technologies in a large scale transaction environment (Linux, Apache, Java, MySQL, NoSQL) Prior experience with open-source test automation tools (e.g. Selenium) Experience with Linux/Unix Environments Experience with Hadoop/Hbase Experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB.
