Location : Texas Duration: 6 months (extendable) Technical • 5+ years of experience with PLM functional processes: BOM Management and Engineering Change Management o Engineering business process management experience desired • 4+ years of experience in using as well as development with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Agile, MatrixOne). o Experience with web based applications would be a plus. • 2+ years of experience with Oracle manufacturing and related Oracle apps • 2+ years of experience with general software development, testing, support, upgrade and maintenance processes, concepts, principles, and techniques. • Knowledge of Software and Application Development Life Cycle IT See Technical section Soft Skills • Ability to effectively convey ideas through oral and written communications, • Ability to work in a multi – cultural and multi – regional group or independently, • Good analytical skills and Detail oriented • Willing to explore new process areas and learn new technologies. Responsibilities 1. Primarily a customer facing role for engineering processes and in-house PLM applications. 2. Talks to engineers and other stakeholders to identify key engineering needs and inputs. 3. Translates identified needs/inputs and documents requirements, use – cases. 4. Interacts with super users to clarify business requirements, build user interface mock – ups and report layouts/designs and training content. 5. Works with process leads and other business transformation program leads to ensure common processes and templates across the company 6. Helps author training content and process documents to ensure processes are communicated to the rest of the company. 7. Acts as liaison between engineers & technical teams, participates in Requirement reviews and Design sessions to identify & document to – be processes and procedures 8. Identifies and documents test scenarios for testing teams (to develop into test cases).
