Location : Denver, CO Duration : 6 Months Need USC & GC Only. *SAS Programmer/Data Analyst with expertise on a UNIX operating system. The Customer requires an experienced programmer (SAS/SQL/Macro) to do sophisticated data analysis and data profiling. The client has a Teradata warehouse, so the consultant must have SAS/Access to Teradata experience. The client requires the consultant to be passionate about data (this is the clients words)* Apply and demonstrate expertise with efficient DATA step, SQL programming and SAS Macro programming. Be proficient in Base SAS programming (*DATA step*), *SQL *programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS *Macro *language for use in making code more efficient. The client has Teradata EDW. So, the consultant must have project expertise with SAS/Access to Teradata. Consultant must be passionate about data. SAS is running on a UNIX platform. So, the consultant must have UNIX expertise and scripting experience. Additional coding responsibilities would be to take ownership of legacy code written by other employees and understand what the code does, how to enhance it, and how to make it more efficient if need be. Must have proven data modeling and data architecting expertise. Have good oral and written communication skills.
