*Sr. Systems Analyst* *This position requires - Strong Facets membership experience.* Technology Consultants are considered resources for the organization at large, and their responsibilities often go across organizational lines. As such, it is critical that they approach issues with both technical and business expertise. Please describe experience 6.Please describe a functional process you documented/designed in a clear organized manner? *Duties * - Interact with the Clients, Vendors, and Technical Resources. - Work independently within guidelines, provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business application, infrastructure and technology related activities. - Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution. - Work with application developers to support applications and customer requests. - Analyze current business processes and systems to provide business process improvement ideas. - Gather requirements and develop detailed documentation related to systems requirements and conceptual solutions. - Coordinate with testing center. - A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required. *Work Complexity* - Consults on multiple projects/programs as a subject matter expert of existing technology. - Consults on and helps drive new technology direction. - Consults on cross-divisional technology solutions. - Consults on highly complex tasks, projects/programs or support issues that involve a high degree of risk/impact to the business unit performance and makes use of the individual's high level of knowledge within one or more areas of specialty. - Typically does not provide administrative or management type support. *Education/ Experience* - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis, or related field required. Master's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis, or related field preferred. - *7 years of* experience in multiple technology areas required. - Demonstrates strong knowledge in one or more major technology areas. - Knowledge of the business required. *Skills: 5 years of experience * - Experience with Health Care insurance industries required - Demonstrated knowledge of the business functions. (e.g. membership, claims or Care Management) required - Experience with Data warehousing (STAR Schema preferred) - Experience working with the Facets managed care application, either online or *back-end data model* required - Demonstrated experience writing *SQL queries* - required - Knowledge of systems development required - required. - Knowledge of SDLC/data bases/development language constraints - required. - Both a strategic and tactical mindset to enable the development of a general high level design and to enable detail reviews of Technical Detail Designs - required. - Business process improvement experience required.
