*Position : Experienced Cloudera Hadoop Administrator* Location : Sunnyvale, CA Duration : 6+ Months · Experience of designing and deployment of Cloudera Hadoop cluster. · Experience working with Cloudera Manager · Ability to forecast capacity on the Hadoop Nodes & optimizing and tune the Hadoop environments to meet performance requirements. · Design, configure and manage the backup and disaster recovery for Hadoop data; and Patching and upgrading Cloudera clusters · Install and configure monitoring tools like Ganglia, Nagios; be the SME on Hadoop,HDFS, Hive other Hadoop ecosystem components and related tools. · Perform administrative functions like map-reduce job monitoring, troubleshooting etc · Create and publish various production metrics including system performance and reliability( and high-availability) information to systems owners and management as & when required. · Coordinate root cause analysis (RCA) efforts to minimize future system issues · Experience with configuration automation tools like Chef & Puppet will be a bonus.
