Duration: 6 Month Senior QA engineer needed to test plan, execute test cases, run automated Selenium test scripts and create Selenium test scripts for complex web software development project using Agile Scrum methodology. Cucumber/Gherkin experience required Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex software projects. • Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Cucumber test automation framework • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Requirements: • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience). • 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing for complex applications that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. • In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies. • Must Have strong experience working in an Agile development environment • Need experience using Gherkin for writing test cases and solid understanding of use of Cucumber. • 2+ years hands on experience with Selenium Webdriver test automation tool • Hands on Experience with Selenium Grid and Javascript needed. Experience with Protractor and Angular a plus. • Experience with testing Mobile Apps with Mobile Automation Tools like Perfecto Mobile or Device Anywhere desired. • Experience testing web services required • Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. • Innovative, creative, proactive high energy traits with excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work under deadlines with heavy workloads as well as flexibility to work outside of normal business hours to meet testing needs.
