Responsible for leading and monitoring the overall performance test Extensive interaction with development teams and GIO (infrastructure) to understand the system architecture and to create an effective and comprehensive load model, test plan, and schedule Post execution activities includes heavy emphasis on analyzing data and metrics produced during test run and mitigate test design flaws or application performance issues Strong knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and as they relate to application business functions/processes Understand of n-tier architecture, web and application servers Monitoring of (Wily, Optier, SAR, RSTAT, etc.) and make performance tuning recommendations Properly assess risk. Suggest alternative approaches/tools and the pros/cons of each. Keep abreast of industry standards and new technologies and introduces them to the organization.
