We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available for this. *Release Manager* *Location:: Framingham, MA* *Duration::6 Months+* *Job Description: * *Role Release Manager * *Skills needed and responsibilities * • The Release Manager is a highly visible, leadership position responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing software releases and ad-hoc break-fix production change events. • Effectively communicates software delivery schedules (e.g. code freeze / code lock down / install dates). • Assists with test environment shakeout and readiness; tracks defect resolution and testing progress. • Escalates and troubleshoots defects / issues with partner teams (business analysts, testing teams, environments management, DBAs, WebSphere, etc.). • Serves as a liaison between various technology partner teams to promote timely delivery of working software to production environments. • Creates implementation plans and communicates changes with release delivery dates/times as needed. • Identifies and mitigates risks (promotes collision avoidance during release preparation, planning, and execution). • Communicates timely release status updates to business and technology partners. • The Release Manager will attend external enterprise and eCommerce release management teams’ status calls as needed. *Skills and experience: * • 5+ years experience in release management or technical project management in an enterprise software development environment. • Proven leadership capabilities with matrixed teams and ability to drive issues to closure. • Strong interpersonal skills; works well with teammates and cross-functional teams to drive development / delivery of software to Production environments to delight Customers. • Familiar with Agile development methodologies; continuous delivery of working software. • Flexibility with personal work schedule to accommodate an Agile continuous software delivery model. • Experience with Rally and JIRA toolsets a plus. • The Release Manager will need to have an excellent problem solving skills Thanks Wasim Ahmed Email:[email protected] Phone: 609-897-9670 Extn 4001 Fax: 302-269-7171 Address: 38 Washington Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08850 [image: image001] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
