Totem is the default Media player in Gnome you never need to ask. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! ;) Your comment reads as if you do not welcome user feedback. Most developers at least pretend they like getting feedback and politely deflect it by asking for patches if they don't particularly like the ideas. I was suprised you choose not to mention Totem yourself in your previous message. The thread was about standard Zoom keys and you are the creator of Totem so it seemed as good a time as any to ask. (I would have tried to answer the question for myself but I couldn't run newer versions of Totem I had compiled because of my messed up audio configuration.) > As Alan said, we use single key shortcuts for most things as we want it > to be easily usable from a keyboard. I should have also mentioned my limited understanding is that Gtk doesn't make it particularly easy to have multiple different shortcuts for the same thing. It is not worth changing Totem just for consistency it is more important to have both keybindings to meet a variety of different user expectations. > File bugs if you think Totem uses the wrong key combos for some things > (and look for the already opened ones, there's one about using > "non-standard" zoom keys). http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302746 Thanks.
