Just wanted to point out a major annoyance with Evolution, especially the editor.
It appears that it's keyboard shortcuts override gtk's in a way that other programs don't. I'm usually using the readline-like shortcuts option in gtk (called "emacs" in gconf /desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_key_theme), to get C-h to delete backwards, for example. This doesn't work in Evolution. Another problem is that inputting special characters (like hitting shift-control-e-5 to input "å" and shift-control-f-6 to input "ö") doesn't work if it collides with an evolution shortcut. Other gtk apps don't seem to work this way. Should I file a bug for this, or is this intended behavior? _______________________________________________ Usability mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/usability
