While we're on this topic... Would it be a good idea to link to, or include, the Recommended Terminology from the GNOME Handbook of Writing Software Documentation [*] in the HIG? A lot of advice in there should be applied to interfaces as well as documentation. Eg, use of the words 'pointer' and 'cursor'.
