Hello José, I would like to add to this that when you move the panel to the side (so you position it vertically), you get the icons moved as vertically there is less space. You also get the issue that to move the panel, you need to find some empty space on it and drag it using the middle-button. I would like to add here that you can move applets around on the panel using the middle mouse button (dragging). See a.
