Well, in other discussions adding a bit of explanatory text in the Places list has been suggested. To add some visibility to drag and drop. But text taking up at least as much space as the current buttons ... For some reason the Apple guys seem to see no problem in relying on drag and drop. > One thing that I do find very awkward is having the Add button under the > bookmarks list, while it'd be more naturally named 'Add Bookmark' and be > placed under the folder list. I would say it's odd in both places, be it below target or source. The usual solution if you have 2 lists and items from one can be added to the other, is to have 2 buttons with arrows _between_ them. -- Thorsten Wilms Thorwil's Creature Illustrations: http://www.printfection.com/thorwil _______________________________________________ Usability mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/usability
