here on the kickoff notes:
on the proposed UI Pattern category designated "search", one example
solution already targeted in the notes was "Autocompletion".
a friendlier name might be "find as you type", which could be abbreviated to
FAST instead of FAYT, so that users may remember that solution better and
try to discover it all over the place intuitively.

of course, further explanation could reveal the actual AI nature of
incremental search in a brief introduction to the category, since AI
concepts are gaining relevance in usability-aware design anyway.

the whole idea of usability is to make either the usage of a tool
intelligent, i.e. the user, or to make the tool itself intelligent.

i hope i'm not going OT with my spooky stuff here ..
