We have a number of "serial USB" devices that work properly on OS X 10.8 (i.e., arduino, pololu, etc). They are integrated into standalone "kiosk" type systems in offices and interface to outboard equipment. This worked fine.
The problem is that now, under 10.10, the USB devices require a replug once OS X is booted before they can be seen in /dev/tty.*. This is a show-stopper, as forcing the customer to replug them on every boot isn't feasible. Under 10.8 there was an Apple USB CDC driver .pkg that could be run that would cause these devices to be recognized & the proper driver matched and loaded during boot so a replug wouldn't be necessary. Is there such a package for 10.10? -Carl _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
