unplug the device. The IO Registry is in-memory, it isn't stored
persistently. Unless there's something wrong with the device driver,
everything associated with your device will disappear when you unplug it.
You can see this happen in IORegistryExplorer - deleted entries show up in
red.

what do you mean by "identified as a new device", and what problem are you
trying to solve?
