I've been doing a lot of work with the Beaglebone Black. Recent versions of
their Debian distro include support in U-boot for presenting the BBB as a USB
Mass Storage device. When I plug it in to my Mac, I get a composite device
called "USB download gadget" that includes a mass storage device, but it
doesn't show up in Disk Utility or anywhere else as something I can mount (it's
a ext4 linux filesystem, so I don't expect to be able to mount it, per se, but
this won't even let me try).
I though OS X supported this. I'm also trying to connect it to my Parallels
Ubuntu VM, but I don't know how to get Ubuntu to look for it.
