it seems pretty clear that, since no IOUSB logging package has been published since 10.9.4, it’s not that someone is forgetting to post the debug version, Apple decided to stop releasing them. Bug reports on this go unanswered, questions in the devzone also go nowhere. I don’t know why Apple stopped releasing this incredibly useful package, nor do I know why nobody seems officially to want to say, no, we’ve stopped it. The last really hard to find USB bug I had I wasted weeks looking for it, then built a 10.9 box with the debugging usb on it, and solved it in a couple of days. The closest I’ve come to seeing an admission that logging USB is gone and suggesting some workarounds (they’re rather clunky) is http://prod.lists.apple.com/archives/usb/2015/Jan/msg00004.html Feel free to file more bug reports on this - post if you get a reply.
