This may all be less of an issue when Apple releases the iPad 2 and the iPhone 5 with NFC and uses it for peer-to-peer transactions and later general consumer transactions with Apple taking a percentage of the transaction directly from the consumer (billed through iTunes--omg).
We've already seen the success of the Starbucks app. Imagine if it was even easier using NFC with Apple supplying readers to retailers for free. Millions of portable devices with the ability to do retail transactions, and Apple getting their cut from each one. Apple becomes the next Visa/Mastercard with their $10 billion to cover the float. Welcome to AppleBank--your new best friend. -- Regards, Howard Bornstein ----------------------- www.designeq.com _______________________________________________ use-livecode mailing list use-livecode@lists.runrev.com Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-livecode
