Hello, you need to create an iOS standalone, open the package (right clic on
the icon) and copy the « info.plist » file to the desktop.
Then add these lines in this files :
...
<key>CFBundlePackageType</key>
<string>APPL</string>
##### add these lines ####
<key>CFBundleDocumentTypes</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>CFBundleTypeName</key>
<string>XXXXXXX</string> // name of your choice
<key>CFBundleTypeRole</key>
<string>Viewer</string>
<key>LSHandlerRank</key>
<string>Owner</string>
<key>LSItemContentTypes</key>
<array>
<string>com.owner.nameoftheapp.xxx</string> // exampe:
com.microsoft.word.docx
</array>
</dict>
</array>
<key>UTExportedTypeDeclarations</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>UTTypeConformsTo</key>
<array>
<string>public.plain-text</string>
<string>public.text</string>
</array>
<key>UTTypeDescription</key>
<string> XXXXXXX </string> // name of your choice
<key>UTTypeIdentifier</key>
<string>com.owner.nameoftheapp</string> // exampe:
com.microsoft.word
<key>UTTypeTagSpecification</key>
<dict>
<key>public.filename-extension</key>
<string>xxx</string> // extension you want to handle
</dict>
</dict>
</array>
###### end #####
<key>CFBundleSignature</key>
<string>????</string>
Then, you need to add the info.plist to your app with the « Copy file » section
of the Standalone builder.
