I seem to be hitting zero for zero but here's another iOS question.

I thought all apps run in the background by default now on iOS. That isn't happening. Switching to another app and then back to mine causes the app to restart. I want the user to pick up where they left off.

Do we still need to select the "background execution" requirement in standalone settings? In spite of the scary warning? Does it work?
