The CVE for OSX is basically taken care of with zoom versions past 4.4.4. If you were running earlier versions then there's a fairly simple routine to test for and remove the web server. There were valid reasons the server was deemed necessary to put into place, the problem being that the server daemon was still active after ending a zoom session.

I use zoom occasionally without any worries, but if you're concerned then LittleSnitch is your friend.
