Just an update to a prior thread (which I cannot seem to find), LC for Windows 64 bit version is just as slow at accessing databases (and I will assume saving files) as the 32 bit version. I had previously brain farted and tested with the 32 bit version, but as far as I can tell there is not improvement in performance with 64 bit.
