Hi friends,

I have a student who started to work with a DEMO version today and now has 9
days left.
He will defintively BUY a license once we get ANDROID setup correctly and ONLY
if we
get this to work!

That was a nightmare on his PC with the "version, which must not be named" 9.6.3
but he also has a Mac now and I thought if we will set up all the SDK platform
and tools
in Android Studio like on my setup that will be OK.

So we checked:
SDK platforms: 14 down to 8

and SDK Tools:
31.0.0
28.0.3
28.0.3
26.0.3

But when we select the correct SDK folder LC complains and wants
platform 14 (installed) and API 34.

Is this new?
I can create ANDROID apps andso I checked my SDK (build tools) folder and found
an
EMPTY folder named 34.0.0

What is going on here?
Do we need to install SDK platform 34 with Android Studio or is it enough to
create
an empty folder like my one mentioned above?

This is the thing where most newbies and also experienced developers may
despair.
Please make this a bit simpler, Livecode, thank you. :-)

Any hints very welcome, thanks in advance!

Best

Klaus
