This was a request at the end of last year, to which there weren't any great answers.

Now there is! Reflection <reflectionapp.com> can act as an AirPlay receiver, displaying the result on your Mac desktop. So you can mirror from your device to the Mac, then you can make a screen recording of that.

Only works with late model iPhones and iPads running iOS 5.

I've been playing with it this morning, it works great.

Hi there,

I want to make a screen recording of my new iPad app.
How do you people do this?
There are no iPad screen recording apps yet. Are there?

For now I started to use the iPad simulator and use Quicktime to make a
screenrecording (OSX Lion).
This gives a fairly good .mov file but the sound is terrible because it
uses the internal mic of my iMac.
I use iMovie to do the editing.

Any ideas and advice is welcome.

greetings,

William
