That is funny (strange) because that is the exact reason some big mucky muck 
here insisted we upgrade all the heretofore perfectly functioning Macs to Lion. 
We had to upgrade a bunch of stuff after that to be compatible too. And why?? 
Because HE wanted to use frickin shared contacts and calendars! <sigh>
