I can't help wondering why there isn't something like this around or if there is. It would be a good web app. I'd also like to be notified if someone new lists themselves and they are in my user-settable neighbourhood radius. I guess it might need to handle communication too... I wonder if there's some phpBB plugin that could do this stuff?
