Thanks all, I'll pass this on. It's not for me, I don't even own FM.
Geoff had it right, I was using the word "concatenate" in the LiveCode sense since I don't know any better. The script needs to combine the first few letters of the words in a single cell.
Mark, we're not trying to create unique identifiers. I only mention that so you won't worry about me. :)
