I think then it works in MacOSX 10.8 but not 10.7 (Lion), which I was using before I switched to Mavericks. So far I haven't found much to annoy me in Mavericks apart from the way it repeats the menu on your second monitor even when you're using the first one. Can't see the point. Anyway I will soon try to do some iOS development.
