You're not disagreeing, it's just my lack of clarity in what I posted earlier.
Amoral implies apathy, a lack of interest in taking a position. It's much easier to deal with someone or something with a defined stance than to have to be constantly on guard for the unknown. I'd much rather deal with people who disagree with me than with those who can't be bothered to have opinions.
