Richmond, Very true. It's hard for those experienced enough to write a book, to know which details might confuse a newbie. The ones I like use a bunch of sort, real world, simple examples, to demonstrate how to create the code. Now is a great time to write a new one, now that v8 is nearing completion. Your background in teaching livecode to kids most likely makes you an ideal person to write such a book. I'll buy it. Best, Bill
