Hi Henry, Interesting. I did not update my existing Xcode version from 7.3 -> 8. I just downloaded Xcode 8 from the Apple downloads page, and the iOS 10 sim was included by default.

Regarding bug 17779, it is of high priority, so I would expect a fix soon.
