@paolo, I don't do push on android, so I can't tell you much about it. I'm doing it on ios. John Craig wrote a stack a long time ago that I have tweaked for the purpose. Somewhere I also have a push server started, but it isn't ready for the rest of the universe (like most things that I work on).
