Thanks for the suggestion - I'll look into it. It ought not to be too difficult to do this for the next version of the docs. (I suppose a Windows machine might not have the Symbol font installed, but it seems the worst case would just have the characters displayed as boxes, which is what we've got now....) -- Jeanne A. E.
