HI,

This may be a Quicktime issue, but can someone explain the Timescale
property to me? The timescale of my ntsc DV video files shows "2997" and Pal
DV files as "2500" -- ok, makes sense, divide by 100 and get the true frame
rate (29.97 and 25 fps respectively). But my .MOV files, with a frame rate
of 30 (double checked in QT PLAYER movie info) register a timescale of 600.
There goes my scheme of dividing by 100 -- anyone understand this?

Thanks
