Yes, they might... ;-)
1. Put a QuickTime Player object in the stack.
2. Set the filename of the Player to the track on the CD you want to
hear.
3. Set the playrate of the Player to 1.
4. There is no step 4.
There can be quite a pause if the optical drive has spun down, but it
works fine. Tested on Rev 2.8.1 Studio, OS X 10.5.1.
